WaveGarden
An endless number of perfectly formed waves curl across the water's surface in the middle of Basque country. Diehard surfers Josema Odriozola (an engineer) and Karin Frisch (a sports economist) decided to turn their experience in building skate parks into the creation of a flawless wave accessible to landlocked surfers. After six years of countless models, trial and error, and the putting the best engineering minds to work, the Wavegarden is ready for action and will soon be able to produce shoulder height waves. The shape, size and speed of each wave is entirely customizable. The cost to have the ocean come to you? Between 2 and 6 million euros depending on the Wavegarden's size.
